How to get rid of the blackheads from skin?

Blackheads are unwanted spots that appear on the skin. Let’s find out how we can get rid of blackheads easily.

Blackheads are the small bumps that appear on the skin due to clogged hair follicles, which is annoying in nature. Studies have suggested that there are multiple reasons that lead to the formation of blackheads on the skin, especially on nose and chin. Here we have listed some measures one can undertake to get rid of the unwanted blackheads from the skin.

  1. Choose a right Cleanser:

It is advisable that you pick the right cleanser for your skin type. And cleanse thrice a week to see the efficient result. Cleanser with salicylic acid will help to get rid of blackheads as they clean the pores that produce oil thus leads to the occurrence of blackheads. Salicylic acid also helps in repairing the dead cells of the skin.

  1. Egg White Mask: 

The white portion of an egg is healthy for the skin as it enriches your skin with essential protein. Applying the mask of egg white on the face is an efficient way of getting rid of blackheads and reduces their further growth. Egg tightens the skin pore, thus leads to the denial of blackheads to rise.

Apply the egg white paste on face and cover it with tissue. Let it dry and then apply another coat. Wrap around a tissue again and apply another coat. Keep in mind to let the layer dry first before applying another on it. Rinse it off with water after the final layer dries out and pat your face dry.

  1. Clay Mask: 

Use Bentonite clay to not just get rid of the blackheads but also enrich your skin with essential minerals and repair the damaged cells. Mix it along with rose water to get a thick paste and apply it over on the face. It might feel a bit harsh on the skin as it dries. Leave it for around 15 minutes and rinse it off with lukewarm water. Bentonite   generally makes skin dry so do not forget to moisturize your skin.

  1. Baking Soda and water: 

Baking soda has a tendency to eradicate anything that clogs the skin pores. The amount of salt present in baking soda might make the skin over dry. So a pinch of it with fresh water is enough to tackle the blackheads.

  1. Oatmeal, Honey and Tomatoes Scrub:

Take 3 tablespoon of oatmeal and mix it with the juice of 4 tomatoes. Add a half tablespoon of honey and make the ingredients well. Apply it on the face and scrub your face gently. Leave it for 20 minutes and rinse it off with lukewarm water. To get the best results repeat the procedure twice a week and notice the difference.

  1. Consult a dermatologist: 

Your dermatologist might suggest for a retinoid. The presence of vitamin A in retinoid helps in getting clear skin by removing oil and clearing the pores. It may bring some side effects along with it but ensures the removal of blackheads completely.

7. Keep your face Oil Free:

Wash your face twice a day as recommended by the best dermatologist across the world. Try to cover your face while going out in order to reduce the exposure of skin directly to the harsh dust particles.
