There is a different pleasure in eating kheer in winters. By the way, we can eat kheer anytime. We can make kheer in many ways. To make it colourful, we can also use saffron in kheer. So let’s know how saffron kheer is made.

Ingredients
Milk 1 kg
Rice – 50 grams
Sugar – 100 grams
Cashews 10-12 (chopped)
Almonds ((chopped)
Raisins – 2 tbsp
Cardamom 5- to 6
Saffron threads 40 to 50

To make kheer, we have to first soak the kheer rice. We can keep this rice soaked for 25 minutes. After this, take a clean pan and heat milk in it. Take some hot milk in it and put saffron in it, so that it will gradually leave its color.

Now we will cut the nuts we have into small pieces. We will also grind cardamom finely in the mixie. After the milk starts boiling, slowly add rice to it.

Will keep on shaking. After some time the rice will start cooking. Now we can put chopped dry fruits in it and keep stirring the kheer slowly. So that it doesn’t burn.

Now slowly our kheer will start getting ready. Now in this we will put the saffron milk that we have soaked. As soon as saffron milk is added to the kheer, the saffron slowly starts losing its color and the kheer becomes saffron.

Lastly, add sugar as per taste to the kheer. After this, keep stirring the kheer for 5 minutes. Now see whether the sugar is completely mixed in the kheer or not. After mixing the sugar, your kheer is ready. You can eat it cold or hot as you like.
